I’ve been listening to a lot of books lately; guess you could call it a binge. 
Here they are: THE BOOKSELLER, by Cynthia Swanson. I could barely turn this one off, it was so fascinating. The story is truly original, all about the mysteries of time and dreams. THE UNIKELY PILGRIMAGE OF HAROLD FRY, by Rachel Joyce. This is an English novel, and even though I realized I’d read it before, I kept listening anyway. The characters touched my heart. THE THREE SISTERS, by Lisa Unger, who is one of my favorite suspense authors. This is a novella, really, a short but fascinating listen, spooky and gripping. ONE STEP TOO FAR, by Tina Seskis. This is another English novel, and I really enjoyed it. The story kept me guessing right up to the end–lots of twists and turns in this one. DINNER AT THE HOMESICK RESTAURANT, by the inimitable Anne Tyler. I loved this one, too–Tyler’s characters literally come to life on the page–or the screen of my iPhone. And finally, LAST ONE HOME, by Debbie Macomber. To my delight, the audiobook opens with an introduction read by Debbie herself. I’m only a little way in, but this is a strong, beautifully written book. I’m loving it, and not just because Debbie is one of my closest friends. Trust me, it’s great.

Breaking Blue by Timathy Egan.
A member of our group somehow invited Tony Bamonte the sheriff that is the main character and he accepted the invite.

What would you ask him?
I think I will ask him how did he control his rage at knowing who committed the murder and being unable to bring him to justice.
My blood just boiled over that.

Nadine, I had to smile when I read your comment. I’m kind of the same — books stored in boxes, the backs of closets, every nook ‘n cranny. Many I’ve read, loved, and would like to read again. But probably just as many that I bought but haven’t had time to read yet. When I retire, I hope I can become a full-time book reader! Wish me luck – I just turned 60 – hopefully by the time I’m 65?! (But I have read every LLM book I’ve ever bought.)

Congrats to the winners! I love Debbie’s books also, they are awesome! I have been listening to some audio books when I ride the excercise bike but haven’t done it lately. I like to take walks when I can. Lately I have had to take my mother in law to the doctor because she broke her arm last Sunday. We had a trip to the doctor on Thursday to get a cast put on and on Saturaday it was back to the ER to get the cast cut because the arm started swelling. To the grocery store for her today. Its been a busy week. Oh and I built myself a new computer on Sunday with my son’s help and it is totally awesome.

I have found that listening to books is great. Especially on long drives, sitting at my desk at work (while working) and even just lying in my bed at night. Usually fall asleep on it but can pretty much remember the last thing I heard. It is so great to have this ability on my cell phone as that makes it much easier. More portable too. I get my books through Amazon for my Kindle and listen to them on my phone using the Audible.com app. It is really cool!!!! I just wished I could afford all the books I want but Kindle unlimited helps.

I have read Debbie Macomber, books, and love them and i love Rosemary Rogers books too. I read a lot of different books. It seems like i take spells where i will read all the time and then i will watch movies all the time. Is their any body in here like that ?. I usually read myself to sleep at night with a good book, I just love to read a good book.

Good Morning Linda, I enjoy reading your books everytime I see a title at the books stores where I shop I pull out my list of your titles to be sure I haven’t already purchased. Your books were a blessing to me when I came home from my cancer treatments 2 1/2 years ago they helped me with my concentration and regaining my memory as I had 37 double doses of radiation for tonsil cancer. I have been in remission for 2 1/2 years and I thank God for the prayers that helped me and I thank you for the excellent books to help me during my road to recovery.
