Congratuations to the 2 of you. You probably heard my sigh though. Today was baking day here also made fudge. I will eat it too and then in January I will suffer the consequence. Oh well, Snow today for the first real snowfall here. It looks wonderful. Blessings.

Last summer I purchased a large bag of used books from a book warehouse that was going out of business. I brought the bag home, set it behind the sofa, and hadn’t looked at it again until yesterday. What jewels I unearthed…Linda Lael Miller’s Banner O’Brien (1984), Spring Water (1998), State Secrets (1985), Bridget (2000)…none of which I have read!

There was also a copy of Maeve Binchy’s Tara Road that I’m sending to my sister-in-law. The trade paperback copy of R.F. Delderfield’s God Is An Englishman (1970) is staying here to be added to my collection of his books. (I already own two copies of that one.)
There are other books by authors I either don’t recognize or never followed for whatever reason, but the aforementioned are the cream of the crop. I’ve just had my own little early Christmas!
