I really thought I was sick, that I’d have to spend the day in bed. Since I’m finishing “Big Sky Wedding” today, and have a couple of other pressing responsibilities to fulfill as well, this would not have been a good thing.
I took some Aleve and drank some water–I was workng hard all weekend and I got behind on my water quota–and voila! I was well enough to ride my exercise bike and do my strength training, albeit at a much slower pace than usual. I’ve spent the morning writing, and will spend the afternoon the same way, and trust me, I’m not complaining. Add my usual good health to the long list of things I have to be grateful for.
So it’s President’s Day and thus pretty quiet around the old homestead.
I don’t know about you, but I need tomorrow to be an easier day.
Are You listening, God?

Linda, I really hope you get to feeling better. I can’t help but think of Mandy ( Kades Bride from the McKettrick Series) where she says the prayer ” Good Evening God this is Sister Amanda Rose Speaking” And Kade is eyeing her!!!! Oh I’m so laughing right now! I may have to pull that one out and read! So your prayer can go……. Good Evening God this is the Amazing author Linda Lael Miller, you know i have deadlines to reach and EAGER readers anxious to read, please let me wake up rested and restored!!!

Glad that drinking the water helped you to feel better.
I am looking forward to the next installment in Big Sky series.
Right now I am enjoying reading another of your early books, JUST KATE.

I hope you feel better. I know how that feels. I was walking to get my bus last friday and pulled a leg muscle. I fell better now and am not running.

Linda, I hope you feel much better by now. Sometimes, you just need a jump-start to get going. I’m a slow starter, but once I get in gear, I’m good to go. I didn’t go out till after lunch, but once I got outside, I worked till dark.
Take care and have a good night, and wake up refreshed in the morning.

We have to watch that dehydration problem. I know with my sugar and the meds I take, I have to make sure I drink lots…

Linda, so glad you are feeling better now. Sometimes we just need to take time and remember to “smell the roses” and drink water.
Can’t wait for the next books.

Linda, it’s almost Thursday and I don’t think I’ve received a post from you since Monday! Did I somehow miss it? Or: ARE YOU OKAY? Not that you are obligated to post on a schedule, but …. where are you???
Just giving you a bad time, girlfriend. I hope all is well!

I am also worried about you Linda. Do hope you are not sick and that you are just very busy. I look forward to your up-dates, so have been saying prayers that all is well with you and yours!
We are having snow…..any moisture is welcome as we have been so dry for so long! I love snow!
If you are sick, get well soon and the prayers will continue!

Dear Linda….
I hope you’re feeling better and getting some rest. I’ve added you to my prayer list – just in case you need them and if you don’t a few extra prayers never hurt anyone

Hello Linda, I do hope you are well. Just had to tell you that on Tuesday I was making a shepherds pie and had put on the potatoes to boil. Well, I left them, and was reading “The Rustler” and I had just got to the part when Sarah had burnt the potato soup and realised I had forgotten my cooking!! Yes I had burnt my potatoes too!!! So you see Linda, your books are so good that it makes me forget where I am
Do not worry, I did manage to make the shepherds pie, so all was well:) Take care Linda
