My favorite quote is the Mae West quote. As a bit of trivia, she was in her first film in 1932 “Night After Night” and George Raft was the star. She rewrote all her lines in the film. In West’s first scene, a hat check girl exclaims, “Goodness, what beautiful diamonds.” West replies, “Goodness had nothing to do with it, dearie.”
My question – will you have any say in who stars in the Hallmark Channel movies?

i have been “accepting” my 65 yr old physical limitations, giving them smug justification for past lifelong activities like skiing and horseback riding. But I had insight yesterday that my youngest granddaughter is only one, and if I want to gift her a wedding dress when the day comes, then I’d better spend the next twenty or so years preparing myself to be able to show up on that day and ENJOY it! And a combo series of McKettricks and Creeds. You teased us a little about that in Meg’s story (I think it was that one).
And about your Canadian Wrangler, wasn’t he ill a while back? Has he been on your ranch for a long time? How did he get to your ranch from Canada if that’s wher he’s from?
My favorite reading is about ranching / cowboys / their families and the Amish—both so hard working and salt of the earth types.
What a blessing for your daughter in you having her father for Christmas dinner. One of my sons is divorced and he’s cooked Mother’s Day dinner for his daughter’s Mother. Made me proud.

Lindsay, I have the whole set (Stone Creek) on CD and listen to them in my car going/coming from work. I love them all, but A Wanted Man and A Man from Stone Creek are my favorite. On A Wanted Man CD it is read by a man and a woman and it makes it so great!
