We lost our dear Sadie-beagle last night. I miss her so much, but there is peace in knowing she isn’t hurting anymore. I was right there with her, which was a blessing–there are, in fact, many blessings involved here.
I’ll write more on Monday, but right now, I just need to remember, to be thankful for the gift that sweet-spirited, goofy dog was to me, and to cry those healing tears.
Godspeed, Say-Say. I love you.

Dear Linda, I'm so sorry that your Sadie-Beagle has left the Triple L. She surely lives on in your heart, not to mention your extended family and millions of friends who enjoyed reading about her in your Blog. Her companionship is irreplaceable, I'm sure. Enjoy the critters who are still with you. How is Buck doing? My best to you!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I recently lost my beloved tom cat who had been with me for 15 years. I understand what your feeling. I'm so thankful for having had my Tom with me all those years. Whenever I'm missing him, I try to think of all the moments of joy he gave me. My life is so much better having known him as I'm sure yours is for having had your Sadie. I pray that you will be soon be able to remember Sadie with thankfulness and gratitude instead of with grief. I'm sure he will live forever in you heart.

Linda I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my "baby", a 9 yo choc lab almost 4 years ago to cancer and still shed tears. They love so unconditionally and are impossible to replace. Cherise your memories and photos, but most of all try to be greatful for being able to create such a special place in your heart that will live on with you forever. You & Sadie are in my thoughts and my prayers.

I am so very sorry. You did everything you and medicine could. Dogs give us so much and God made them perfect, except for that short life span. You were both so lucky to have had eachother.

Linda, I am so sorry to hear about Sadie. I don't have a computer at home, so sometimes I'm behind on things and I apologize for that. We've had cats and dogs throughout and they are wonderful companions. Give them love, food and shelter and they're happy, but they give us so much more with their unconditional love. They don't care what we would look like or how much money we have. We've always found comfort in knowing that we will see our loved ones again, including our "furry" ones. Sadie is not in pain and I'm sure she is jumping around in the rainbow meadow above along with any of your others that may have gone before. You gave her the best care possible along with your love….and you'll hear her footsteps for awhile, but you'll see her again. With supportive thoughts…..Marian
