Here are today’s morning entries in my trusty gratitude journal, just as I wrote them:
1. I thank You for black jelly beans.
2. I thank You for all my blog buddies.
3. I thank You for the gift of discernment.
4. I thank You for your unconditional Love.
5. I thank You for letting me be born to Skip and Hazel Lael.
(By “You”, of course, I mean God.)
Have a wonderful weekend and remember, if you haven’t already done it, to comment. I’ll be announcing new winners on Monday.

Have a great weekend and just so you know I thank God for talented ladies like you because you bring so many interesting books that make me laugh, cry, and make me really feel!!!

I am grateful for so many things that by the time I got them all written down, the day would be gone. But, I am forever doing short prayers of thanks as the day goes on. Does that count?
I pray everyone has a wonderful weekend, and gets and stays well.

Thank you, Linda, for reminding us that to be grateful is a grand and glorious exercise to help us realize all our of our blessings. We can’t take HIM out of our lives, or we’ve have nothing.
And by the way, thank you for writing your books. You’ve been a shining example to me what good writing can be.
Blessings to you,

Thanks for sharing! Time to restart my gratitude journal.
I had one years ago and it helped me get through some really rough patches in life. I don’t know why I ever stopped.
Comment
I give Thanks each and everyday. For all the gifts of family friends and everything out there that I’ve seen, heard, felt or touched. For the good and for the the bad. The good taught me what to reach for and and the bad taught me to be grateful all I have!

Hi Linda. Have been doing some uncluttering at my place and came across some pages I had torn from a magazine around 4 years ago. It was a story written by a woman who was becoming depressed and was encouraged to begin a gratitude diary for one year. It ended up being a photographic journal. It can be found on the website http://www.365grateful.com It reminded me of your grateful journal.
