#1 NYT bestselling author Linda Lael Miller

I’m proud to know all of you

You’re amazing, you truly are.  You comments and sharing from the heart touch me so deeply.  It’s as though we’re all sitting together around a great big kitchen table, chatting away about everything.

I have a couple of errands to run today, plus a chapter to draft–amazingly, this book just seems to flow.  Maybe it’s the prayer?  :)  Anyway, it’s a pleasure–I just show up at my computer, ask for inspiration and guidance, and wham!  I’m in Parable, with the story unfolding all around me like some three-dimensional movie.  And they pay me for this?  :)

Wendy and I are going out to lunch with my mom tomorrow, a date that is long overdue and will be so much fun.  Three generations at one restaurant table–it’s priceless.  We’re in the market for one of those walk-in tubs for Mom, so that will be fun, too.  And a stop at Hobby Lobby may be in our future as well.

Saturday and Sunday are Lael-Kramer reunion days, and my sister Sally is coming up from Salem to attend with Wendy and I.  We’re a wild bunch, we Laels and Kramers, but we sure do laugh a lot.  I’ll Tweet a few pictures, for sure.

God be with every last one of you.  Thanks for sharing the trail.

I have preordered the new Christmas book but I’m re-reading A Lawman’s Christmas. When you mention praying over your writing I understand why they touch my spirit. Thank you and Him too! :)

I noticed that you are going to be looking for a walk in tub for your Mom. Be very careful which one you get or maybe they are all technically the same. My husband got me one and I do not like it, I think perhaps if it had a fold up seat instead of a solid one I may like it better. I only take shower’s as it takes so long for the tub to fill up that the water is only luke warm. I think that I preferred the chair in the tub that I had. Just a word of warning. Good luck.

Awww, wish we could all get together around a table – what fun we would have :-). Have a wonderful reunion this weekend! I’m leaving for Knoxville to visit my cousin who is one day younger than I am. Hope to see beginnings of colour changes in the mountains as well.
    God’s Blessings,

Linda enjoy your time with your mother, sister, & daughter. Comes a time when you wish you spent more time with them. I wish I had my mother here to do lunch & go shopping with her. Makes me sad & lonely because I do not have a sister, daughter, or daughers in law that I can do things with. Enjoy reading your blog and your books. Enjoy your week end.

Linda, I hope you enjoy your 2 day reunion. We’re having one Saturday, but it is only one day. It is to honor my paternal granny. She would have been 115 today!!!

    Be safe!

Have you ever thought of printing a geneology on the Mckettrick clans? Another author does this for her books. Just an idea. :?:

Hi, Elizabeth. I’ll answer for Linda. :O) She does have a family tree for the McKettricks but the family has grown a lot since she put that together. She told us, a few weeks ago, that there would be an updated one some time soon. I’m looking forward to that, too! Have a good weekend.

Sounds like a nice weekend you have in store..enjoy all of it! I would give anything to have time with my Mom again…she’s been gone since June 2001…I wish she could see what great young adults my children have become. To all those who are lucky enough to still have your parents (my Dad is also passed) enjoy them every day in some capacity! I would love to be sitting around talking at some big kitchen table…what fun that would be!! Have a great weekend!

Thank you Ms Miller for your wonderful books. I have been enjoying the Creeds and McKettricks for several years now and I read Glory, Glory just a few days ago and Sam O’Ballivan was in it. Thank you so much for the many, many hours of enjoyment. Can’t wait for the next one. Knowing that you are a Christian and use His help when writing makes my day. God’s blessings to you and your family.

Hope you’re enjoying your reunion! How I love getting together with my sisters and mom! We’re in NJ, SC & MD, so it doesn’t happen as often as I’d like.
I was happy to read about how you pray before you write. Although it doesn’t come as a shock because your sense of spirit and positivity definitely comes through the pages of your books. You are a true blessing and inspiration in my life. I only started reading your books little over a year ago and already I’m on my 51st! Just finished Big Sky Country about an hour ago and starting Big Sky Mountain in a few minutes. :-) I often get teased by family and friends because I now always have a LLM book in my pocketbook! LOL

Please keep the great work coming because it provides such a nice break in the rat race. :-) New fan for life!

I finally recieved my copy of An Outlaws Christmas, late of course, on Saturday and spent the weekend reading it. Loved it!! I also was able to pre-order the next Parable book from my book store. I so can not wait to read it. Would love an updated copy of the Mc Kettrick Family tree. Also ordered Daring Moves and started it tonight. Escape from Cabriz (?) has not arrived yet but should be here monday or tuesday. I am thinking about ordering the vampire series. I am not really into vampires but thought I would give it a go (sometimes its okay to step out of your comfort zone). Would be interested in any thoughts others have on this series. Thanks in advance, Anne
