#1 NYT bestselling author Linda Lael Miller

Back at long last….

I intended to blog on Monday, filling you in on all the details of my trip to Reno and the rodeo, but I was too tired to think straight.  :)  Well, of course, Tuesday immediately followed Monday, the way it tends to do, and guess what?  I couldn’t get online.  All day.  Chris, the weekend wrangler, sometimes dog-sitter, and all-around computer geek, got me back on, but it was late last night.

Even later last night–this morning, really–company arrived, my daughter and future son-in-law, Jeremy, drove up from California.  They’re spending the summer, and I’m thrilled.  I’ll be writing books, and Wendy will be writing screenplays.  :)

Reno was fun–the people at Harrah’s treated me like a queen, sent Jenni and I to the rodeo, and I met some readers, too.  I always love to meet my readers.

Much as I enjoyed Reno, I’m glad to be home.

Hutch and Kendra will be hitting book stores soon–very soon–in “Big Sky Mountain.”  I am so enjoying the company of all my Parable friends.

God bless and stay safe.  Be kind, too–especially to yourself.

Welcome back. I can not wait for the new book to come out in the stores. I read the last one twice and have been on pins and needles anticipating the next installment and what the rocky road towards happily ever after has in store for Hutch and Kendra.

Sorry to hear about the computer trouble, I always hate that. Periodically my internet access abandons me for no reason and it is so annoying. Glad you have a wrangler who doubles as a geek, that can be handy. :) Glad you had a good time in Reno. Have a wonderful summer visit with your daughter – now back to Parable. Love Ya!!!!

I have read a lot of your novels. I purchased Big Sky Country and got as far a page 224. Then it skipped to page 289 to 320, then257 to 377. I do not know what to do with the book. Will they allow me to return it half read? Do not want to skip any pages I realize this is a problem with the publisher and not at your end. May you have glorious sunrises and sunsets. Can’t wait for Big Sky Mountain. Ruth

Just wondering why there was no more mention of the cat Lucy-Maude and her expected kittens after page 343? On page 352 it states: “June unfurled into July, and July rolled into August”. Shouldn’t the cat have had her kittens in June or early July?

My fault! I forgot the cat and kittens–but you’ll be glad to know they are all thriving in happy homes.
