I guess if you’re not old enough to remember the vintage blues song the title of today’s blog comes from, you’ll either think I’m crazy, have very bad grammar, or both. According to the little icon on the front of my iPhone, the sun will return on Friday. I have missed it sorely, but I’m doing my best to appreciate rain and cloudy skies.
If any of you live in the Reno area, or will be passing through, I’ll be doing a book signing and a meet-and-greet at Harrah’s on June 23, from 2:00 to 5:00pm. Would love to see you there if you can make it. My visit is part of the celebration for the big rodeo.
Working today–yesterday I planned on it, but discovered in no uncertain terms that I needed a mental health day. So I played with art stuff and read memoirs–too much stuff about Dysfunction Junction lately, though, so I’m switching to some upbeat stuff for a while.
Gearing up for CREATE next week, and I can hardly wait. I’m planning to tweet a lot, blog at least once a day, and have a great time. Wendy will be there, along with Jeremy, which makes it all about a thousand percent more wonderful than it already is. I’m bringing a swim suit, but I probably won’t have the nerve to wear it. We’ll see.
Bernice and I continue our twice-daily barn visits. I keep waiting for her to get tired of it, but she never does.
That’s the news from my kitchen table for today, friends. May God bless you and yours.
