Walking (not) in a winter wonderland

Woke up to snow this morning, and lots of it.  And it is BEAUTIFUL–probably because I don’t have to go anywhere.  My office is right here at home, one of the many things I love about my job.  We’ve had at least six inches overnight, and it’s still coming down in small, fast, furious flakes.  This morning, while doing my devotions, I noticed one of the plant pots on the deck–it has a lovely dome of snow on top, and that got me to thinking–again–about the bulbs actively slumbering under all that cold and wet and plain old dirt.  I

Seriously? It’s really Friday again???

Amazing.  The older I get, the more time seems to fly.  Since I love my life, though, I don’t really mind.  As an ADD person, I’m not very good at doing things slowly anyhow.  :)

I’m into Day 6 of the Food Lovers Program, and I’m already noticing subtle differences–plus I feel better in general.  For the first five days, I was allowed to have wine, but for the coming two weeks, the recommendation is to skip it.  Alas.  I’m following the plan as carefully as I can and, if that means no red wine for a while, so be it.
