I missed you!

First, I must mention the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, in Connecticut.  My heart is broken for all concerned, and my prayers are with the victims and their families and friends.  May God’s infinite Love and Grace sustain all of us as we grieve together. 

It seems almost irreverant to talk about my trip to Las Vegas, but I promised you a run-down and I plan to deliver.

With patches of blog

Well, it’s been crazy busy around here, and that’s why the blog has been a big sketchy lately. 

This is the day!  In a few hours, I leave for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, and I’m VERY excited–it’s always fun to watch all those cowboys walking away, if you know what I mean.  :)  Then there’s the shopping over at Cowboy Christmas–yeehaw!!–an experience I always enjoy.  Not to mention the rodeo itself–believe it or not, my favorite event is bullriding.  (You’d think I would have noticed there weren’t any pickup men.  :))  I’m mostly packed and ready to leave
