It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

How I love this holiday, crazy-making though it can sometimes be.  :)

I’ve been in low gear all week–tired from the whirlwind trip to Vegas–but I’m sure glad I got to go.  Equally glad to be back home, of course.  I’m something of a homebody, much as I love to travel.

It remains to be seen whether or not we’ll have a white Christmas here in Eastern Washington State–right now, it’s raining and there’s a good thaw underway, though we still have some snow on the ground.

And so this is Christmas….

Lovely, busy, hectic Christmas!  My favorite–and most exhausting–holiday of them all.  :)  The tree is up and shining brightly, and most of the packages are wrapped.  I can’t take credit beyond choosing and buying the gifts, however–I am a lucky woman, because I have help.  Thank heaven–I couldn’t get any books written if I didn’t.  (Just tending the horses is a full time job.  Never mind running the house, keeping the books, and all the rest of it.)
