The reunion and other adventures

The Lael/Kramer clan met at the Longhorn Barbecue on Saturday morning, for breakfast, storytelling, joking around, and lots of hugging.  :)  Cousin Barbara Lynn did a wonderful presentation on our ancestors–all the way back to the Revolutionary War.  We’ve always bragged that we were related to Daniel Boone; alas, the “Lales” were neighbors to the Boones.  Still makes a great story, though.  Calvin, back there a few “greats”, was in the Civil War, a Confederate, captured early on.  He lived into his seventies, though, which is a lot more than many veterans of that conflict could say.

I’m proud to know all of you

You’re amazing, you truly are.  You comments and sharing from the heart touch me so deeply.  It’s as though we’re all sitting together around a great big kitchen table, chatting away about everything.

I have a couple of errands to run today, plus a chapter to draft–amazingly, this book just seems to flow.  Maybe it’s the prayer?  :)  Anyway, it’s a pleasure–I just show up at my computer, ask for inspiration and guidance, and wham!  I’m in Parable, with the story unfolding all around me like some three-dimensional movie.  And they pay me for this?  :)
