To Blog or Not to Blog

That is the question.  :)

The answer, of course, is always, “Yes”.  Or, on days like today, “Yes, eventually.”  :)

I’ve been celebrating the completion of “Big Sky River”, albeit very quietly, since Friday–by quietly, I mean: 1) fussing over Bernice.  She’s been a little gimpy–not unusual in a 12 year old dog, but let’s be honest here, I tend to obsess.  My imagination being what it is, I have been from composing a eulogy to miraculous healings, and everywhere in between.  The reality is, she’s a little better.  And she’s still 12.  2) Doing crafts with Wendy and Jeremy yesterday,

Time to Celebrate!

I was up at 5:30 this morning, brimming with story, and writing the ending of “Big Sky River” by 6:00!  A little while ago, I finished.

I love this book–here’s hoping my editor agrees.  :) The project was long and in some ways difficult, but these characters really touch my heart.

Up next: “Big Sky Summer”, starring country singer Casey Elder and rodeo-stock magnate, Walker Parrish.  And I can HARDLY wait!

But first, some celebration is definitely in order.  Hobby Lobby, Michael’s and Northern Quest Casino are all on the list, along with lunch with my mom, long overdue.
