Light at the end of the tunnel

Back to the doctor for a chest x-ray yesterday–and the news is all good.  It seems I DON’T have bronchitis (or anything worse)–I simply need to have my sleep apnea machine recalibrated.  That’s why I’ve been exhausted–I’m missing a few important sleep levels.  :)  Anyway, it just feels really good to know what’s wrong, so I can do something about it.  It’s also good to know that I can get back to the book I’m writing!

Pajama Blog

This bronchitis seems like a two-steps-forward, one-step-back kind of deal.  I start out with all this ambition, and then suddenly hit the wall and have to lie down and rest.  It’s crazy.  I have  appearances scheduled at two Spokane-area libraries this weekend, and I’ll be there for sure.  No matter what.  Last year I had to cancel the same gig, because Sadie-beagle passed away that very day, and we had just lost a very dear human friend as well.  The August before that, I broke my right wrist.  I guess this year’s August story will be the bronchitis.  Maybe in
