Oprah’s Life Class

I never watch this program live–I always seem to be doing something else when it’s on–but I Tivo every episode.  Last night I watched the season finale, and I heard something I’d like to write on my office wall in big letters.   Bishop T.D. Jakes said, “What you feed, grows.”

Now, I know that’s simple.  But for me at least the simplest lessons are often the hardest ones to learn.

What you feed, grows.

Hmmm.  Feed love, and it will grow.  Feed patience, and it will grow.  Feed kindness–well, you get the idea.

My Art Journal and Other Musings

Yes, I’m definitely writing.  :)  I expect to finish this book on Friday–I can hardly believe it.

I’ve been using my spare time, recently at least, to work in my art journal.  Unlike my written journal, it’s not private, and I hope to post some pictures of it soon, with help from Jenni, who is in charge of such things.  I get on these artistic kicks, and right now, I’m into making something I call “prayer pockets”.  I bought some coin envelopes at the office supply store on Saturday, ran them through a dry embossing machine, which impresses a three-D design
