Working and Loving It

I’m working this week–including tomorrow, which is one of my favorite holidays. Lest you feel sorry for me, don’t. Writing “McKettrick’s Heart” is such a pleasure, I can barely tear myself away.

Meanwhile, pop those firecrackers. Eat that watermelon.

We are an independent people, however imperfect, and we have a great deal to celebrate.
