Winners, a fun video and my travels

IMG_1294.MOV

Above, please find a link that should take you to an adorable video taken by my daughter, Wendy, during our recent visit to Las Vegas.  (I say “should” because I am notorious for goofing things like this up!)

This week’s winners are Sandy Horseman and Lee Ruedrich.  Since I’m off on a trip tomorrow and won’t be back until late the evening of February 1, I’m not running a new contest currently.  HOWEVER, do not despair–as soon as I get home, the contest will be up and running again.

Where am I going?  Tune in here; I plan to blog at least twice during my journey.  In the meantime, let’s keep it a mystery.

I’ve been crazy busy lately, which is why I haven’t blogged.  I appreciate your patience, and promise to blog from…..?

The little dog is cute but doesn’t that hurt the dog’s back? It seems cruel to me.

Would you be off to Gettysburg??? Would love to be able to be there sometime when you are there. That place fascinates me. Have a great trip wherever you are going.

Can’t wait to see where you are going. Don’t come to KY. We are in a blizzard expecting 14 or so inches by tomorrow morning. That makes this a good day to stay inside and read a good Miller book!

Linda, I love the story of Elizabeth McCartney and her cousin Rue. Have you ever thought of resurrecting the necklace in the school yard (I think that is where it ended up buried), say the high school gets torn down 40 yrs later and someone finds the mysterious necklace? I just love the time travel story and wondered if you thought about a new generation discovering it. I have read Sieraa’s homecoming where time travel is explored again with the teapot but I long for another story. Thanks for all the stories of the 1880’s west you bring to life for us. Kay
