#1 NYT bestselling author Linda Lael Miller

The Good News

Two of you will win a $100 Visa gift card–and you’ll be chosen at random.  Cards will be sent out on December 20.

The “bad” news?  My people are advising me to cut back to one contest a month, at least here on the blog.  There are more on my website and also on Writerspace, so check those out, please.

More good news?  I’m attending Cowboy Christmas at the NFR as of the 10th of December, and some of you will win GREAT prizes I’ve personally chosen for  you.  While I may or may not be able to blog from Las Vegas, I will give you a moment-by-moment account of my adventures, I promise.

The new book (“Big Sky Wedding”) is going SO well!  I am in love with the hero, Zane Sutton, and HE’s rapidly falling in love with Brylee Parrish.  :)  (Darn it.)

I’m loving your comments, as always.  Come back tomorrow for this week’s winners!

Do you know how special you are?

Oh goodie, more contests & prizes :-). As if your books were not enough, you keep us “plugged in” anticipating whatever, we never know, but it’s exciting HA! 
As for my most memorial Christmas ever, well that would have to be the year my first grandchild, Chandler, was born, 1999. He was due 18 Dec, but was holding out. My D-I-L went in the hospital the 22nd to be induced the next morning, but he was still reluctant to appear. Her doctor suggested she just go home until after the holiday, then they would try again. But Ash was having none of that, saying, “he just HAS to be born now – I’ve already hung ornaments saying ‘Baby’s First Christmas’!!”. Sooo, Chandler arrived via a C-section the afternoon of December 23, going home on Christmas day in a tiny red stocking !!

    Hello Linda,

I love reading about what is going on in your life, your home and your town. As others have said, it is fascinating to hear how a real writer spends her day, what she likes, what she thinks about. Thank you for sharing.

I love your books, especially the McKettrick series!

Hi Linda- I enjoy your books as does my 90 year old Dad! He’s an old farmer/rancher and loves books with cowboys and horses in them- and apparently a little romance too.
We’re always looking forward to your next book.
Have fun at the NFR. Wish me and my dad could join you. He showed cattle at the National Western Stock Show back in the 1950-60s so these events are especially nostalgic to us.
