#1 NYT bestselling author Linda Lael Miller

Taking it easy

I’m still feeling a little rough, so I’ll be doing my work in bed today, with a heating pad and a lot of Tropical Hibiscus tea, my absolute favorite.  :)

I am so blessed!

There are some books I want to tell you about, but that will have to wait a little while.

Back tomorrow.  (No, really…)

Feel better, Linda. Will they excuse you from Jury duty if you’re sick?

    Take care of yourself.

Get healthy Linda so that you can go on that trip you have been planning. If that means we don’t hear from you for a few days, that’s ok.

I am sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Here is a prayer from my Mothers’ Manual for healing. O Heavenly Father, God of love. You gave us Your Son Jesus to be physician of our souls and Healer of our bodies and minds as well. Lord Jesus, I turn to You in this time of illness. please come to me and lay Your healing hands on me. Let the warmth, peace and healing power of Your Spirit fill me now with Your life and love. I receive you, Lord Jesus! May Your joy be my strength this day.
Amen. I pray you receive God’s healing Grace.

I had pleurisy a long time ago and it was not fun. Hurts to breathe and as you say there’s no treatment but time. I’m sure it’s hard for you to be still for long. Good time to do planning for your upcoming trip. Search out places to visit. Hey, who knows they may have gem stores nearby.

Sorry you’re still feeling bad. I don’t blame you for staying in bed. I stayed in bed also. I don’t have what you do, I’m just plain old sick. I’ve had pleurisy in the past, so I can definitely sympathize. Take care Linda and I hope you feel better for your trip. Still jealous about that . Lol.

Sorry that your pleurisy still has you down, but it will take time to heal.
Technology is the blessing and curse that allows us to continue to work even when we are bed ridden, but remember that a good nap can help us heal and allow our minds to soar.
Praying for your happy healthy recovery.
