Stone Soup

That’s about the only thing I haven’t tried around here–stone soup.  (But stay tuned.)  :)  Gemstones ARE used by practitioners to energize food–although, obviously, one must not try to chew them.  :)  SERIOUSLY: certain semi-precious stones, like malachite, are deadly poisonous.  NEVER LEAVE MALACHITE WITHIN REACH OF A CHILD OR A PET, even if it’s been polished!  Resist any wild (and quite incomprehensible, I admit) urges you may get to grind or polish the stuff, too, because the dust, whether you breathe it in or absorb it through your skin, can kill you.

Black Friday? Not for me. :)

I’ve rechristened today, the 29th of November, 2013, from “black Friday” to “blessed Friday”.  :)  The gratitude we celebrated yesterday lingers, a deep and sweet knowledge that no matter what circumstances we may find ourselves in, there is always reason to offer thanks, whether aloud or in the silence of our hearts.  (This, you see, is where God lives, not in distraction and hurry, not in some far-off heaven, but right here, in that peaceful inner place we call the heart.)
