Technology, gotta love it lol! After spending two taking my final exam for a class I was taking the computer decided to stop responding and would not print my exam score:( luckily the score posted to the corporate office and I didn’t have to retake the test. Computers can be very frustrating at times. Any way I just want to thank you linda, for all of your wonderful books that have given me so much pleasure over the years. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and sending you God’s blessings!!!

I have a new laptop and I can’t type five words in an email before the cursor jumps back to the previously line and starts inserting my new text into the text I already typed.

Does anyone know what to do about that – other than throw the thing out the window?

P.S. Glad you made it through the storm, Linda. And the horses too!

The new laptops have VERY touchy mouse pads. When I remember (translate–when it annoys me the most) I move my cursor to the lower right corner of the screen and then when it jumps, it doesn’t go much of anywhere since it moves to the last thing you’ve written. Hope this helps.

Congrats Ladies. We had our first big snow storm of the year over the weekend 11 inches of snow. I live in a suburb of Chicago. (25 miles) the city had less than 5 I think. O’hare had 11.2 inches. We got more than they were perdicting.

    Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

    Linda

When I’m writing something really exciting, I forget to save to my flash drive as often as I should. Sometimes I set a timer so that I save on purpose to my computer file and to my flash drive on a regular basis. I write my blogs on WORD and cut and paste them to my website. I don’t lose as much good stuff that way. Hope this helps.
