Musings

It’s still pretty warm here in Spokane, but that hint of fall is definitely there.  YES.  The blossoms on my Veteran’s Honor roses are full and bright red, another reminder that God is the most brilliant artist of all.  Now is the time to cut a plump, dozy blossom and float it in my crystal rose bowl–too beautiful.  Why, when I think of the jillions of different flowers and fish and animals, I’m awed.  No two snowflakes have ever been alike, and no two ever will.  Same with people, grains of sand, you name it.  Everything God creates is a total original.  And that’s just Earth.  What else is out there?

And then there’s the theory that the entire universe is really a mere atom in something infinitely larger.

I can’t help it, I get carried away.  :)  We are so lucky to be alive, here and now, troubles or no troubles.

To quote the poet (loosely)…”the world is so full of wonderful things, that we should all be happy as kings.”

So today I am going to be happy.

How about you?

Even thought I feel like “crap” today, I am lucky, there are people far worse of than I am and so I am grateful…

I feel wonderful today!! Plumbing are issues solved and I am so thankful for modern day plumbing. I swear, I would have kissed my plumber had I not known where he had just been. I will never take plumbing for granted again. :-P

Today I am cleaning out closets. Long over due here. You would not believe the great things I am finding. A few I never even knew I had. Its like christmas here. Like going to the thrift store and getting a whole lot of neat free stuff. Oh yeah, I am definitely Happy, life is good. :-D

Hi, Linda. Again, a blog that was desperately needed at the time it was read. Thanks for the reminders about our wonderful Creator and His wonderful creation! That early evening nip of Fall is in the air in Seattle, too. A cool dampness that we will now have as our constant companion until probably next July. Oops, there I go again. being negative … I’d better re-read your blog! LOL, have a wonderful day! Hilda

So happy to read your blog and know you are safe from the fires. I know WA is a big state, but these fires are swift moving. :)

Linda, I totally agree! We tend to think so small, but there has to be soooo much more out there than what we see now…space cameras and all. I like the mere atom theory. :)

    Have a special day.

Linda, Spring has sprung and Summer sizziled…around here anyway, Autumn is arriving and Winter is waiting. And, all are good. I just wish Spring and Autumn would hang around longer…like 6 months each. :-D That is not being NEGATIVE, because I’m POSITIVE that I would like that…very much!! :-D

Around here, we have flowers of some kind in bloom practically year-round, and I am so gratefull to be able to enjoy it.

    Take care!
