#1 NYT bestselling author Linda Lael Miller

More internet problems!

Errrrgh!  I pay these people for internet service, but I don’t always get it.  I’ve been waiting to blog, and doing my best to stay on an even keel when I couldn’t.  :)

Our winners for the week are Christy Miller and Terri Shortell.  Congratulations, ladies.  Your prizes will go out on Monday, which is also when a new contest will begin.

Those of you who were planning to try out www.DailyAudioBible.com but haven’t gotten around to it–you still have time.   You can catch up easily, so just tune in.  You can also sign up on iTunes or wherever you download podcasts.

Are you keeping your gratitude journal?  :)  I am, and it’s such a blessing, I can’t believe it.  I’m back to writing Morning Pages, ala Julia Cameron’s classic book, THE ARTIST’S WAY, after a fairly lengthy hiatus.  It’s wonderful; I get so many good ideas by journaling.

I’m keeping this blog short today, as I’m still writing, and the deadline is coming up FAST.

Have a fabulous weekend, and remember to count your blessings.

I’m glad you got back on…I was beginning to be concerned that you, or some of your family, or critters were sick.

    Keep enjoying the New Year!!!

I am really happy when I remember to write out my gratitude journal. I always think of my blessings before I go to sleep but somehow writing them out is cathartic and uplifting. Plus it’s been interesting to go back and refresh my memory for some of the low points of last year…always some bright spot, no matter how small.

Deadline? How do you disipline yourself? Do you write a certain number of pages per day, week or what? Seems being on a tight schedule would stifle your creativeness? Guess not, though. We are having cold like y’all in the West

I am reading Big Sky Secrets right now. I am loving it. I am keeping a journal now that I no longer have a job as of yesterday. Keeping busy but it is very snowy and bitter cold in NYC.

Congrats to the 2 ladies! I started a new journal on New Year’s Day! I love writing my feelings it helps me reflect on the day and to express my feelings. I was hoping to find your new book at the store but didn’t so now I need to head to Tallahassee’s which I like going to but all the college kids are heading back so the traffic will be heavy, anyways, will see for I need to spend time with my dogs in the morning and some of my friends that I didn’t get a chance to see over the holidays. Have a wonderful weekend!

Congrats to the winners! I feel you pain when it come to your internet service. We switched over to a new internet service a while back and it took them a couple of weeks to get it straighten out to where we had internet. I really don’t like not having internet.

I use Julia Cameron’s book also; have for years. And I use her quotes in my classroom for my students. I started the DAB on December 30th and I’m so glad I did. I look forward to it every morning now. Thank you for the suggestion!

Yes! Hang in there with the DAB–the Old Testament can be a bugger. Bless him, Brian’s commentaries are so good.

sorry to hear about your internet problems. I just finished Big Sky Wedding. I rationed how much of it I read at any one time. I didn’t want it to end. I’m going to “unarchive” the entire series and read them from start to finish. Can’t wait for the next book.

Glad you have the internet again, it’s the pits when it doesn’t work. I hate when it goes out. And congratulations to the winners. I am thankful every day for all that I have. Today for a little while I got to spend time with my younger sister, and her three daughters and her grandson. He will be a year old on Jan 8th. His mom is having a birthday party for him tonight but I took his present to him early, because I didn’t want to get stranded in St. Louis tonight, if the bad weather came before it is predicted. So I hope you have a great weekend and as soon as I can, I will be getting my copy of Big Sky Secrets! Take care!

I picked u my copy of “Big Skye Secrets” and will start it as soon as I finish a Thurlo novel from the library. My cat is lying
partially on my keyboard, so I apologize if my typing is awry.
I’m starting my gratitude journal tomorrow. I’m going to have a lot of scribbling to do! Stay warm and watch the ice, Linda.
I live in Spokane, too and I’ve been using ice melt and kitty
litter all over the place. Kitty litter works great just outside the
horse stalls which get soooo icy.
Congrats to the winners! God bless.
