More Answers…

Thank you for your prayers and concern for my mom–I’m happy to report she’s home again, and almost back to normal.

What I’m planning to write next: Well, now, I’m doing a proposal for the Civil War book at the moment, and it’s the first in a 5 book series that will cover American History from the Civil War up until World War 2.  While there is certainly romance in these books, they are not specifically romances, but more historical fiction.  It’s my goal to see them published in hardcover initially.  In the area of romance, I’m planning another trilogy, and I’d like to set it in Montana.  Why?  Partly because I LOVE Montana–it’s my mother’s home state–and partly because I want my ranching family to own a vineyard and a winery.  I may set the stories in Bliss County, however.

Will I have any say in the casting for the Hallmark movie/possible series?  No, probably not.  :)  I will, however, get to visit the set and watch some of the filming.

When will the Hallmark movie be shown?  I don’t know.  :)  You can bet I’ll post the news right here on this blog as soon as I know anything about it.

Where can we buy vinyl quotes?  I got mine on eBay, from the following sellers: universalstickers and wall_decal.  I’m happy with the quality and the price was very reasonable.

How many books have you written?  I stopped counting at 100.  I would estimate, though, that I’m somewhere around the 130 mark.

Do you plan on reading the sequel to “To Kill A Mockingbird”?  ABSOLUTELY.  I would not miss that one for anything!

When is Bex’s story coming out?  The title is THE MARRIAGE SEASON and I believe it will be released in June.

Do you ever ride your horses?  I haven’t for a while, but now that I’m skinnier, it’s on my agenda.  My cowboy-cousin, Steve, made me promise to let him ride them first, just in case.  Traveler and April are both gentle, but they’ve been running free for a while.  More Q&A next week–have a great weekend, my friends.

Thanks for more answers! As a retired 6 – 8 gr. language teacher, I think To Kill a Mockingbird should be required reading for every student. I am looking forward to the sequel, as well as more of your Western cowboy books.

The Marriage Charm was a delightful book, looking forward to the next one.

Still re-reading in the McKettrick series, seems like I catch something I missed the first time in about every one. Just great relaxing reading.

Linda, glad to hear your mother is home. miss mine so much, prayers for her and your family. I am excited for a new Trilogy, I like others keep reading the McKettrick series too, I also find something I missed in your books, probably because I read before I go to bed and doze off. I cant’ wait for Hallmark to give us a hint. I like the fact you want to do something on the Civil War being originally from the north and the east coast this was part of our history. no one even knows history anymore and that is a shame. I always look forward to your new books. Have a good weekend.

Regarding the horse riding, I had to give up my horses and riding(bad back and hip) but I long for the day that just maybe I can ride again and it that ever happens I’ll surely own at least one again :-)
