#1 NYT bestselling author Linda Lael Miller

I’m sorry! :)

I was so tired, and every day I INTENDED to blog, and you know what they say about good intentions.

I have been vegging, for the most part–sleeping a lot, playing with art supplies, etc.  Every single day I said to myself, “I MUST blog.  My friends will think I’m dead.”  :)  (Good news, I’m not dead, far from it, but there were days…)

In any case, I am back and I have never been better.  I will be blogging Monday and Tuesday, but early on Wednesday, I leave for a much-needed vacation in sunny Florida.  I’ll be hanging out with exciting friends and doing exciting things, so watch this space for updates!

Our winner for last week’s contest is Debra.  She’s been emailed and her prizes are on their way to her now.

This week, for obvious reasons, I’m skipping the contest, but never fear, we’ll start right up again when I get home.  :)  In fact, I’ll bring back a special prize from the Sunshine State.

Everybody, stop worrying!  I’ve been very, VERY tired this week, but I’m not sick.  And I love you for being so concerned, and sending up prayers on my behalf.

May God bless each and every one of you in the way  you most need to be blessed.  (Remember that God knows what you need most, and it might not agree with what you THINK you need most.)

You are dear to me.

I thank God that you are okay and just tired. I know the feeling. I too thought you might have that awful flu, so was worried. Prayers answered! Have a great time in Florida, soak up the sun and enjoy. :)

Oh, PTL, yes did I did think you must have been bad sick to go so long without blogging! So glad you are not, but why so very tired? Did you finish the book? Relax & enjoy FL sunshine, but I would be enjoying the snow where you are !! It’s still rather cool here in the Deep South, but Spring has sprung – my jonquils are blooming. They are the first things out, but trees & bushes are loaded with buds :). Keep us posted!
    Blessings,
    SherryNan

 I think we all have days like that. Seeing as how you’re an author I can understand why you wouldn’t feel like writing a blog. Whenever you can check in is good. Hope you’re having a great day.

Everyone deserves ‘vegging’ time. And as your prayers lift us up, I hope ours lift you up as well. As Ellen says “Right back at you” So we all don’t agree on every single little thing; isn’t that why we continually attempt to reach other people? What a gift is talking with our fellow humans. Be well, be energized, be loved. :)

I’m glad to hear that others get oh-so-tired, too. I wanted to let you (& everyone) know that I find your spiritual comments so important that I’m including them in my journals. I have 2-3 journals going at once & with most I copy quotes & comments,(with their sources–old Eng. teacher habit!) from my all sources of my reading. I write down whatever I find helpful, interesting, unique, especially true, life lessons. Your words from your blog & books, Linda, appear frequently. Often these are points that I “know,” but need reminding of. And, some- times they bring a fresh look at something about which I thought I had already made up my mind.
Many Eng. teachers take a snobby approach to writing they do not consider “literature”; I’m not one of them. I believe we can learn from any and all words–those of others, and even our own as we “re-veiw” what we’ve written in the past. Thank you for being such a thoughtful writer, one who entertains and teaches all at the same time. :-P

Oh, so happy to hear you are ok. I have those days now and then. Think our body is saying “I need a break”. We need
to listen. I’ve read everyone of your books – still have most of them. Always anxious for the next one to come out.
Have a safe trip. Oh, by the way – it was 68 here today in
Northern California – more of the same next few days.
