I Saw It On Pinterest….

OK, I confess.  I am ADDICTED to Pinterest!  I have boards for art, home remedies, cute animals, and about a jillion other things, some of which ought to be combined, but I haven’t the faintest idea how to do that.  Any suggestions?  My favorite discovery to date is bullet journals.

I know.  Say what?  (No, they are not journals for recording scores at your local shooting range, although you could do that.)  I use mine to track weight loss, writing quotas, and other such things, but the possibilities are literally endless.  Check them out on Pinterest, bulletjournal.com, and Youtube, and you’ll get a good overview.

In other news, you will note that we haven’t offered a contest this week, and there won’t be one next week, either, because Super Jen got married on September 3, and now she’s on her honeymoon.  She and her wonderful groom, Dustin, got hitched on my front lawn, and let me tell you, Jen was the most beautiful bride EVER.  I’ll be posting a few pictures when she gets back.  In the background was my EXCELLENT gazebo, built by the equally excellent Doug Willponin, our handiman and dear friend.  (You’ll see pictures of the gazebo, too.)  Doug not only designed the gazebo, he cut and planed the logs for it, and they’re all from the Triple L.  Besides the gazebo, Doug built me an honest-to-goodness buckboard for Christmas last year, and now it’s proudly displayed out front as well.  Pictures forthcoming.

Wishing the bride and groom many years of great happiness! After 46 years of marriage you would think that I would have some good advice for them but all I can say is that is all about compromise!

Congrats to Jen and new hubby! This is bad to say but I just looked at todays date and this is my 32 anniversary today. I have been cleaning and hubby is at work, a great way to spend your anniversary not. I had forgot about it until I seen the date.

Happiness forever for Jen and Dustin. Can’t wait to see pictures. Is Doug for rent? My friend, handyman Jerry,
decided to flip houses for awhile and I have the occasion to
need help in my old age! Let me know.
I’ve only been on Pinterest once, cause I have an addiction
problem with things I like. The only bullet in my life was my
past dear cat that I lost 6 years ago. Computers are not my
best venue. I happened to run into “Always a Cowboy” at Yokes the other day and I’m in the middle of it. Goooood!

Congratulate Jen for me! I am so happy to hear she got married, good for her :) Your gazebo sounds beautiful. I have a family member who does woodwork and he just built his first banjo. What was funny was that he says “I don’t know how to play the banjo but I wanna learn, and now I can!” He is too funny. Well anyway, congrats on the wedding Jen and I hope you have a good week.

I have a few saved items on my Pinterest account. I look occasionally for new hair ideas and Alabama Crimson Tide stuff. My husband is addicted to Pinterest. He’s a florist and is always looking for new ideas.
