#1 NYT bestselling author Linda Lael Miller

Good morning, everybody!

Here are the winners for the Halloween memory contest:

Bonnie Wilson,  Rhonda Terstegge, and LaTasha Reed.  Zip me your snail mail addresses at llmfb@msn.com and we’ll send you each a signed book.  Enjoy!

Today is a writing day–you’ll remember, I was pooped on Monday, worn out by all that fun–and it looks as though, God willing, “Big Sky Summer” will be finished on Tuesday.   The next story to be released, last Tuesday in December, is “Big Sky River”, starring Boone Taylor and Tara Kendall, the chicken farmer.  I believe “Big Sky Summer” comes out in June, but watch this space for up to date information.  :)

I’m planning a quiet weekend, resting up and reading, but if I get dragged off to the casino, kicking and screaming in protest, by my cousin Mary Ann this Saturday or Sunday, well, stuff happens.  :)  I hope to visit Hobby Lobby, devour the new issue of “Somerset Studio”, which just arrived, and make a few artist trading cards, catch up on a few podcasts.  I always look forward to “Celebrity Ghost Stories” and “Long Island Medium”, too–I would LOVE to meet Theresa Caputo!!

My sister Sally made me one of her FABULOUS upcycled sweater-coats–I’ll be wearing it at the rodeo in Vegas this December, for sure.  Will tweet a picture or two very soon.  If you want to see what my technicolor dream coat looks like before then, visit Thankful Rose, on Etsy.

So it’s off to Parable/Three Trees, Montana for me.  Things are getting pretty wild in that neck of the woods.  :)

Be well, be happy, and be kind.  It’s a choice.  (REALLY.)

Another surprise from you – a morning blog! Congrats to this week’s winners! Will there be another book in the Big Sky series after Big Sky Summer? If not, what’s next? Guess I was just wondering how far ahead you plan out your stories. Have a great, relaxing weekend :-)
    Blessings,
    SherryNan

If you get to the casino, feed one of the “One arm bandits” for me. Fingers and eyes are crossed for luck.

So excited about ‘Big Sky River’ and of course all the rest. I know I am way behind but just finished ‘Outlaw Christmas’. Loved it, loved it, loved it but now I am homesick for the McKettricks. :( Miss them like part of the family and loved the new additions. Thank You Linda for all your wonderful books. Hope your weekend it splendid!!!

That is a beautiful jacket, Linda!! Perfect for the rodeo!
I wish you could meet up with Randy Corley, 11-time PRCA Announcer of the Year, when you’re in Vegas. He lives in our area and, with his father-in-law Hadley, announces the rodeo at the Washington State Fair every year. (Yes, we are now a state fair.) :) I think he does off-camera work at the Nationals.

Anyway, I keep forgetting to congratulate the weekly winners! So congrats to all…past and present! :)

Am expecting Outlaw’s Christmas in the mail any day! Can’t wait to get started on it!!! I need a Linda fix! :-D

    Thank-you for being such a gifted writer! Have a good week-end :)

As a 2 yr retired, 45 yr experienced English teacher, I read non-stop. I love the classics, so my students did, too! But now I read only what makes me feel good; discovered you, LLM, and am collecting your books as fast as I can. Love your heroes (got a lawman/teacher and 2 firefighters of my own!) and especially your strong, loving women. I copy quotes from every book I read into journals and just wrote the closing from your 10/26 blog (“a choice”). Thanks for giving me (and my lawman/teacher) so many hours of pleasure. I love your exploration of the Old and New West. From a Texan (San Antonio) born and bred–best wishes and take care! :-D

So excited that we will have a new Big Sky book in December. I can’t wait to read more about Tara and Boone and of course revisiting our friends from the first two. I love the continuity. Thank you so much for the stories, the characters, the settings. I am addicted.

I am SO excited to be a winner!! Who knew that when my husband told me his sad Halloween story it would win me a signed book by my very favorite author! I’ve always loved to read, but when I lost my beloved son at age three-reading became a very big part of my life. It’s what put me to sleep at night for many years; it’s what I turn to today to occupy my mind when I’m feeling down. I had bookshelf after bookshelf of books by various authors…but Linda Lael Miller has been my very favorite…thank you Linda, for taking me out of my world, and into the world of the McKettricks, the Chalmer sisters, the Primrose Creek sister, the Creeds, etc.
