We were lucky here in the Adirondacks of NY. We only had wind damage. but our locals had much damage from last years storms. Some are still recovering and yet without homes. However locally a woman has spearheaded a coat and hoodie drive, plus we are enclosing warm clothing, to be shipped to NYC. It has been very cold here in upstate and downstate too. We have a local limo company filling limo’s to take down there. My husband is a Vet, and a Red Cross Government liason. He volunteered last week for the storm and again on Saturday all day in Albany. We do take care of each other. We are blessed in the US for a sense of community and taking care of others in a bad situation. May NYC and LI feel our prayers.

I am lucky enough to have all of the McKettrick series in sequence, so am able to keep up without jumping back & forth. I am now on Garrett, so soon will be at the end of this series. I think I will have empty nest syndrome when I get to the end. I am also involved with the Creed men!

I pray for all those who have been effected by “Sandy”. Especially the ones who lost loved ones, homes and belongings. I was lucky only lost power, and water for 5 days. I just got it back. It hard we all learned that living in a high rise apartment is isolating and wish we lived closer to others on the lower floors. God bless everyone. Congrautlations Linda on finishing your book. You derserve to celebrate and enjoy your crafts.

Seeing all these answers to the favorite cowboy question brought another of my faves to mind…stubborn; hard, but loyal; cowboy-to-the-bone, Angus McKetrick. And I’m just catching up with his grandson, Sawyer. I might have to favorite all of the McKetrick men. ;>)

That horrible disaster on the east coast…….I know of one couple who, even though they have family at home and are hundreds of miles away, is going to NY for Thanksgiving. They said that will be their way of contributing to the economy there. Bless their hearts!

Oh my gosh
I am so hooked on The Mettrick’s all of them,I can’t seem to put the books down. I just wish I would have gone on to your website at first so I could have read them in order. It was a little confusing to jump back and forth from past to present. I get all the books from our local Library and I am hoping to read all the rest on your list.
I just want to tell you that I am a 61 yr old grandmother and you make me feel like I am watching from the sidelines on everything that is happening. I would love to see the Hallmark Channel do movies on the Mettrick series. ??? Maybe something to think about I know Larry Leviston (Producer of multiple Hallmark Romance Movies) would be thrilled if he knew what was in these books. Again thank-you so much for your great talent. Also, are these books availabe to read on a Kindle yet?
I like the books that have larger print, and I am thinking of getting a kindle.

Congratulations, Linda. I hope you’ll take off longer than a weekend before starting again. I haven’t been reading your Blog a very long time, but it seems as if you’ve written 2 or 3 books in that time, and since I lose track of time, it could have been more books.

Have you announced the winner of the favorite cowboy yet, and I missed it? Or, are you still trying to choose among all the great ones?

Best of luck to you. I am so sorry that our East coast neighbors are having all of this trouble. My heart goes out to people who have lost loved ones and homes. Your community will bounce back though. New Jersey people are tough and resiliant. You will love the Australian series. The characters are honorable, relatable, and likeable and the men are hot, a little dangerous, and loyal to their women. A characteristic of all of Linda’s “cowboys”. The Australian variety is equally as appealing.

Can’t wait for the new books. I am so excited about reading them.

We lived in Florida for several hurricanes, and I feel so sorry and sad that the East coast has to deal with this. They have my prayers and help.
