The previous company I worked for offered all military personnel, past and present, including spouses a discount. and when they used it I always made a point to thank them for their service. sacrifices are made by both the service member and the families that stay home, so thanking them all is very important. Whenever I see someone in uniform I make it a habit of thanking them for their service. It’s just the right thing to do!

It is truly sad that our arm-forces are treated the way they are. Their pay and benefits are the worst for what they do for all of us. Ball players and our government officials get pay more then they deserve for not even doing anything near what our service men and women do for us. Thank goodness for the help they get from the other programs that have nothing to do with the government. There are more each year that we can send things and money to and know that our military will get the help they need.

May you have a great week. Thanks for all the many wonderful books. Hugs Linn

Linda, I just want to thank you for informing us about TeamRWB.org. I had never heard of it and I am a Vet (and there for the grace of God go I, healthy) maybe they promo different organizations in different parts of the country. I know of the WWP.org, I am not sure if that is who takes the wounded warriors out on fishing boats in southwest florida. I believe there is another organization down here that takes wounded warriors out scuba diving down here, I think it’s called SCUDS. Anyway just a line to thank you for info. I trust your tomatoes you are growing have matured and you are enjoying them.

Thanks Linda for the link. If we are able to help we should. Because freedom isn’t free and our military, active or veteran need and deserve our support! Hope you have a blessed week!!!

I will definitely check this out. There are heroes in many ways
of life and they should be honored when we recognize them.
You probably won’t agree, but I feel you are one of those, too,
in your own way. You bring a lot of good feelings and thought
to so many of us thru your books and taking the time to put out
a blog with such good “stuff” in it. Thank you.
