#1 NYT bestselling author Linda Lael Miller

About “Interlude”

My story, “Interlude”, will be featured in Brenda Novak’s collection entitled “Sweet Talk”.  It’s an e-book and will not be available in any other format as far as I know.  The collection will be released on May 1, but it is already up for pre-orders on all the usual e-book sites–Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.

This never-before-published novella is a modern-day Western, featuring Cassidy McCullough, who has come home to the family ranch outside Busted Spur, Arizona to prepare for her upcoming wedding to–totally the wrong man.  Oh, Michael is nice enough.  He’s smart, successful, and good-looking.  Trouble is, he’s not G.W. Benton, the sexy and slightly older rancher who lives down the road from the McCullough place.  G.W. has a young son and a history of heartbreak, and, while Cassidy has known him all her life, and had a major crush on him when she was younger, well, she’s over all that.

Cassidy has made herself a life in Seattle, where Michael is awaiting her return, none too patiently, but, heck, Busted Spur is home.

So there’s the 411 on “Interlude”.  I can’t wait to hear what you think of it!

I don’t have an E-reader, either. I’m sure it’ll be good, and is for a good cause.

Just wanted you to know that I posted Brenda Novak’s Badge from her website to facebook. I also mentioned the three story collections. My sister and father both have Type Two Diabetes. I am working to keep my weight down and eat healthy so that I do not develop it also in my later years. Hope you have great success with your story.
