A Sad Day

It looks as though the old Buckaroo will be leaving us today.

Lots of crying to be done, and plenty of remembering.  There will be smiles as well as tears, and all the Buck stories will warm our hearts.

What a gift that horse has been to all of us here on the Triple L.

    Linda,
I am so very sorry. Today we said good bye to our cat Pippin. She had kidney failure and so we had to do the right thing.
I hope that when you think of Buckaroo you will soon bring a smile at all the love and joy he brought you.

SO SO Sorry to hear this. One of the hardest things I ever did was hold a 13 mo old filly until her last breath. She collicked very badly!! I still have her in my dreams!! Will see her when I get to heaven – I know all of them are waiting to greet me when I get there!!

Dear Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words to relieve your pain I can only offer you the Rainbow Bridge Poem. It is online. I find this helps when a friend loses a pet. God speed.

Linda, I am very sorry to hear about your wonderful horse. I believe he in horse heaven, the good Lord made all the wonderful animals, so I believe he has a special place for them, and who knows you Dad may get to ride him. I have had to put two of my babies (dogs) to sleep, so I feel for your sadness. God Bless.

Dear Linda, may the Lord comfort you! I love hearing your horse stories.

This is such a coincidence – I was searching for a bookmark this morning from among my collection, and I pulled out your bookmark from 2012 (I think) – the one with a picture of you and one of your horses. I guess God put you and your crew on my mind today. My sincere sympathies to you! I know he had a great life with you!

I’m so sorry, Linda. Losing a family member – two-legged or four – is always so heartbreaking. I had to have my baby (Fiona, a cocker Spaniel mix) put to sleep a few months ago, and I miss her every day. I know that all of our animals will be there to greet us one day. I hope that all the great memories will soon make you smile. Hugs and prayers to you!

Linda… All I can say is I guess with all the joy the Good Lord gives us in our lives, it has to be balanced with sad days like this one. Sometime before too long, the sadness will give way to cherished memories of Buckaroo that will make you smile. Just hang on til then.

    Thinking of you today….

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing an animal that you have come to love can be just a devastating as losing a family member because they become a part of our family and our lives. I know that you have all these lovely memories of him and all the good times you have had together. May God grant you the strength to make it through this and may you know that he is there for you to lean on. Again, I am sorry for your loss.
