#1 NYT bestselling author Linda Lael Miller

A couple of days late……..

Hi everyone!  it’s Jenni……Linda’s niece/assistant here.  I’m posting today as Linda is out of town on a much deserved mini vacation ;)  I’m sure she’ll tell you all about the fun she’s having when she gets back.

As Linda left town on Monday, she and I both forgot to choose this week’s contest winners.  Congratulations to Marilyn Willerton and Phyllis Odell!  If you ladies will please check your email and respond, I’ll get your prizes out asap……..

Linda plans to return on Saturday so she should be back to regular blogging on Monday.

Have a wonderful week!!

I finally understand why my parents weren’t as excited about Christmas as I was when I was a kid. So much stress in the world! My kids came over Saturday and paced the floor until I finally agreed to go buy a tree. The grandkids were so excited after we decorated it and it opened my eyes that I might be turning into Scrooge. I even bought a tree for my mom (who is wheelchair bound) and took it to her house, set it up and told her if I have to get in the Christmas spirit, so does she. LOL! She called me the next day sounding like a kid! She found all kinds of decorations in her closet that she hadn’t pulled out in years! I guess my kids were right. Stress or not, Christmas isn’t about me. It’s the “Spirit”. Thank you Lord. I am truly blessed for my kids and hubby! Merry Christmas all!!!

Mini vacations are sometimes better than long ones. Not as much to catch up on when you get back. Enjoy!
