Happy Independence Day!

Since my summer blog schedule seems to be a bit sketchy, and since I wanted to wish you the best Fourth of July ever, here I am, blogging on a Saturday.

Here in our area, the grass is dry as tinder and there is an ever-present danger of fire.  For that reason, there will be no fireworks set off on the Triple L.  The heat is enervating, so Bernice, Jitterbug and I will be staying inside, where it’s cool. 

Which DOESN’T mean we won’t be celebrating liberty and all its blessings.  :)  We’re just setting off sparklers in our hearts instead
