Good Heavens, It’s Friday Again

Again, heartfelt thanks for all your sweet words of condolence.  As a friend said, when I sent her a picture of Bernice, “If soul had weight, that pup would be the size of Mongolia.”  So true.  She was a spiritual giant, packed into an 11 pound body.  :) 

A number of you wrote to say that you, too, had lost a beloved pet, in some cases very recently, in others, a while ago.  If I could hug each and every one of you, I would.  I’m deeply sorry for your loss, and I certainly know how you feel.

Feeling Better….

Thank you, one and all, for all your love, prayers and words of condolence.  I was especially touched by the stories of other dearly beloved pets who have moved on.  I miss my little Yorkie Princess very, very much, but I have peace, because I know she’s free of achy joints and shortness of breath and a host of other age-related illnesses.  I still expect to see her in her regular places–at the back door when I come in from a walk or a trip to the store–curled up in her bed beside my massage chair in the living room–in
