Thanksgiving

There’s a wonderful sign on a board near my favorite supermarket, which reads: Thanksgiving is not a day, it’s a lifestyle.

Amen!  Even in these trying times, we all have a lot to be grateful for, methinks.  Starting with each other.  I am SO very thankful for each and every one of you, and I wish you the very best for the holiday and every other day of the year, too.

The Weight Watchers news is good–FINALLY!  I broke through the plateau, shedding a record (for me) 5.6 pounds (count ’em, 5.6!!!) and hitting a real milestone.  As of today,

Back Among the Living

Wow.  Here’s my advice about that cold going around right now–don’t get it!  It’s a lulu.  I’m upright and fully dressed, so I see that as progress.  :)  I spent my weekend recovering, listening to books (this time it was “The Sleepwalker’s Guide to Dancing” by Mira Jacobs.  Thumbs up on this story–it was funny, touching, instructive and well-written), and recovering some more.  I did exercise throughout–seemed to make me feel better, though I must have looked a sight peddling along in my pjs with my hair sticking out in every direction.  Bernice and I made a quick run to Target
