Happy New Year!

Today is a day for looking back–and looking forward, here in Linda-world, at least.

I accomplished two things in 2012 that really please me–1) I listened to the entire Bible, day by day, at DailyAudioBible.com.  And I’m eager to start all over again tomorrow.  :)  2) I completed an art journal  (I use the word ‘completed’ loosely, because art journals are never really finished), and I can see real progress from when I began the enterprise to now.  I’ve decided to retire this journal now and move on–I’m doing single pages on 12×12 watercolor paper, using all sorts of different paints

Happy Birthday, Chyanne Lael!

:)  This cowgirl is plum wore out, as the old-timers would say.

We’ve got snow aplenty out here in the country, and it’s beautiful.  Always good writing weather.  And good soup weather, too.  I’ve been meaning to unpack my Vitamix and whip up a batch, and I spent a happy hour yesterday ordering seeds from the Burpee catalog.  The one from Jackson-Perkins arrived, too, and what a feast for the eyes.  I’d need another thirty acres to grow all the flowers I want to grow!
